Still Time to Plant Your Fall Veggies!
We are very fortunate to live in a part of the state that allows us to grow veggies all year around without having to have a greenhouse or coldframe. I often get asked, “When should I plant <insert veggie name here>?” You look at some seed packets and they say, “Plant 3 to 4 weeks after last frost.” What?!?! Um… we don’t usually get frost. While we may not be able to plant tomatoes, squash, or peppers in Fall or Winter, we can still plant a ton of other veggies. Here is my recommended list of veggies to plant in October.
